Labelbox Lands $3.9M

San Francisco-based Labelbox, a developer of software that helps enterprises train their machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, has raised $3.9M in a seed funding round, the company said on Tuesday. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins and also included First Round Capital, plus Gradient Ventures, the artificial intelligence arm of Google. The company said the funds go towards accelerating development of its technology, plus for go-to-market. Labelbox was founded by Manu Sharma, Ysiad Ferreiras, Daniel Rasmuson, and Brian Rieger.
