Mashape Picks Up $18M

San Francisco-based Mashape, a developer of microservice API tools, has raised $18M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included CRV and Index Ventures. Mashape's primary product is Kong, software which helps companies manage their use of APIs. As part of the funding, Martin Casado of Andreessen HOrowitz has joined the company's board.
