SolFocus Finds $25M
Palo Alto-based SolFocus, a company in the area of solar concentrators, has received $25M in funding. SolFocus said the funding was part of a $32M Series A equity financing led by New Enterprise Associates. The round also includes participation by NGEN Partners and Yellowstone Capital. SolFocus said it would use the funds to accelerate large-scale reliability testing for its photovoltaic, solar concentrators. The firm's products are based on research from the Palo Alto Research Center.
