Adify Gets $8M
San Bruno-based Adify, a new Internet advertising marketplace and ad network, said today that it has raised $8M in a venture capital round led by Venrock Associates. The firm said that its Internet advertising platform provides self-service advertising to advertising and publishers. As part of the funding, Brian Ascher of Venrock has joined the firm's board. Adify was founded by Larry Braitman and Richard Thompson, founders of Flycast Communications.
