MTV Buys Harmonix For $175M
MTV Networks has acquired Harmonix Music Systems, the developer of the popular Guitar Hero music gaming title, for $175M in cash. MTV, which is a division of Viacom, said that it wuld use the acquisition to enhnace its universe of entertainment, news, gaming, and interactive content offerings.
