GuardID Receives $5M From Trinity
San Mateo-based GuardID Systems has received $5M in a first round of funding from Trinity Ventures, the firm reported today. GuardID is developing anti-phishing security products for protecting consumers against online identity theft and online fraud. Ajay Chopra of Trinity is joining the firm's board as part of the funding. GuardID also counts Gordon Eubanks on its board of directors.
