Oracle Buys MetaSolv
Oracle said today that it is buying Plano, Texas-based MetaSolv Software, a provider of service fulfillment operations software. The deal is worth $219.2M in cash. Oracle said that it expects the acquisition to close in late 2006 or early 2007. MetaSolv provides products used for provisioning VoIP, IP VPN, broadband, and voice and data services. Oracle said that MetaSolv's employees will become part of Oracle's Communications Global Business Unit.
