Avantis Closes $12M Series B
Sunnyvale-based Avantis Medical Systems has raised $12M in a funding for its medical devices for detecting colon cancer. Avantis said that the round was led by Montreux Equity Partners, and will be used to fund development and commercialization of its product in the United States. Avantis Medical's product is a new device for the detection of colon cancers and polyps, which are hidden from standard conoscopes.
