Topix Nets $15M
Palo Alto-based Topix.net has received another $15M in funding, the firm said today. Investors included Gannett Co., The McClatchy Company, and Tribune Company. The new investment will be used to expand the firm's news service. Topix.net filters and presents online news and information. Gannett and Tribune now each own 33.7% of the firm, with McClatchy owning 11.9%.
