Powerset Raises $12.5M
San Francisco-based Powerset, which is developing a natural language search engine, said Monday that it has closed on $12.5M in a Series A investment. The round was led by Foundation Capital and the Founders Fund, along with angel investors. Charles Moldow of Foundation and Peter Thiel of the Founders Fund have joined the firm's board of directors. The funding will go towards its product development initiatives.
