Double Fusion Pulls In $26M
San Francisco-based Double Fusion said today that it has raised $26M in a funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners. Double Fusion is a provider of an in-game advertising network. The round also included existing investors, Accel Partners and Jersualem Venture Partners, as well as strategic investors Time Warner, Hearst Corporation, IDG Ventures Pacific, and Sedona Capital. Double Fusion said it will use the funding to aggressively scale its business. Double Fusion provides embedded, in-game advertising for video games. Jim Lussier of Norwest Venture Partners will join the firm's board as part of the funding.
