Cisco Sues Apple Over iPhone
San Jose-based Cisco said Wednesday afternoon that it has sued Cupertino-based Apple, Inc. over the firm's use of its iPhone trademark. Cisco said that it is looking to prevent Apple from infringing upon and using its iPhone trademark. Cisco said it obtained the iPhone trademark in 2000 after completing the acquisition of Infogear, and that it is seeking injunctive relief.
