Menlo Park-based Mayfield Fund announced this morning that it has closed on a $200M fund dedicated on investments in China. The firm said that the fund was formed in a partnership with GSR Ventures, a fund focused on China. GSR Ventures II includes LPs from both GSR's first fund and Mayfield's existing limited partners. Mayfield also disclosed 11 investments in China, in conjunction with GSR, including Lattice Power, Mobert Semiconductor, PowerLayer Microsystems, SMIT, Baihe Online, Co-op Land Technology, StudyEZ Technologies, PingCo, Qunar.com, SportsGG, United ITV.
