Desi Hits Finds Series A
San Francisco-based Desi Hits, an online entertainment web portal focused on South Asian and Indian music and culture, has raised a Series A round of venture capital funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Trident Capital. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. The DesiHits site includes music videos, interviews, articles, and other content focused on music from India, Bangladesh, and other South Asian countries.
