Meru Networks Gets $27.6M
Sunnyvale-based Meru Networks has raised $27.6M in a Series D funding, the firm said today. The round was led by D.E. Shaw, and also included Lehman Brothers, Clearstone Venture Partners, NeoCarta Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, Evercore Ventures and JumpStartUp Venture Fund. Meru is a provider of wireless networking equipment. Andre Turenne of D.E.Shaw and Barry A. Newman of NeoCarta will join Meru's board as part of the funding.
