AMIMON Gets Investment From Motorola
Santa Clara-based AMIMON, a developer of semiconductors for the wireless transmission of high definition video, has received a strategic investment from Motorola. Motorola said this morning that Motorola Ventures, its strategic venture capital arm, has invested in AMIMON. AMIMON's products provide wireless uncompressed HDTV links between digital set top boxes, high definition TVs, and other electronics. AMIMON is backed by Cedar Fund, Walden Israel Venture Capital, Evergreen Partners, Stata Venture Partners, and Argonaut Ventures.
