Emeryville-based MobiTV and NBC Universal announced this morning that the two are in a deal to provide full length primetime programming on US wireless networks. The two said that NBC will offer primetime content from shows such as "The Office" and "Heroes", "Monk", and "Battlestar Galactica" via MobiTV. NBC will also offer short programming from Bravo, SCI FI Channel, USA Network, Telemundo, and mun2 on ad-supported subscriber channels. The primetime content from NBC Universal will be available to wireless subscribers starting at $1.99 for a 24-hour viewing period.
