Jangl, the Pleasanton-based online calling service, said today that it has unveiled a new calling service that allows its users to call anyone with an email address. The new service allows users to call from their mobile phone and leave a voicemail, which is delivered via email to anyone with an email address. The person is emailed and gets a local number where they can call you back. Jangl is backed by Cardinal Venture Capital, Labrador Ventures and Storm Ventures, and has raised $9M in capital.
