Gemini Mobile Lands New Funding Round
San Mateo-based Gemini Mobile Technologies has scored another $5M in a financing round, from a suite of Japanese investors. The firm said that the new round of financing came from ACCESS CO. LTD, Aplix Corporation, and Nomura Securities. The round also included Mitsubishi-UFJ Capital, a prior investor in the firm. Gemini Mobile Technologies develops wireless software. The firm said that the new funding will go towards general business purposes and international expansion. The new round closely follows an investment in March worth $20M by Goldman Sachs.
