AOptix Scores $15M
Campbell, California-based AOptix Technologies has scored $15M in a financing round, led by DAG Ventures. The firm said Tuesday that the round also included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Clearstone, 3i, and Lehman Brothers. AOptix Technologies is a developer of iris recognition systems and laser communications products. The firm's iris recognition systems are used in biometric systems.
