Livescribe Launches Paper-based Computing Platform
Oakland-based Livescribe has launched a new paper-based computing platform at the D: All Things Digital conference. The firm's platform, which combines a pen-sized computer with specially printed paper, allows anyone to take notes and capture audio during lectures or a discussion. Livescribe is venture backed by VantagePoint Venture Partners, and is headed by Jim Marggraff, who was behind LeapFrog's LeapPad platform.
