Gizmoz Finds $6.3M
Menlo Park-based Gizmoz, which operates an online service which allows users to create an animated, talking character for their web pages, has raised $6.3M in a Series A investment. The funding came from Benchmark Capital and Columbia Capital. The firm said that the new funding will go towards expanding the company's product development efforts and global expansion. Gizmoz is targeting its service to blog authors and for use on social networking web sites.
