Google Buys Panoramio
Mountain View-based Google said late Wednesday that it has agreed to purchase Panoramio, a Spanish website that links photos with geographic locations where they are taken. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Google said the acquisition will incorporate the Panoramio website, its underlying technology, its content, developers, and user community into the Google Geo product mix.
