Hyperic Adds $6M
San Francisco-based open source systems software firm Hyperic has closed a $6M Series B round, the company announced Tuesday. The round was led by Benchmark Capital and Accel Partners. The two are previous investors in the company, and last injected $3.8M in the firm in May of last year. Hyperic said that the funding will go towards aggressively expanding its product portfolio and customer support.
