Storewiz Raises $9M
Storewiz, a firm developing data storage compression appliances, said Tuesday that the company has raised $9M in venture capital funding from Sequoia Capital. The firm said that the Series B funding will go towards meeting demand and expanding sales and marketing teams for its products. StoreWiz develops appliances which compress data being stored onto NAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel storage.
