HP Acquires SPI Dynamics
Palo Alto-based HP said Tuesday morning that it has acquired SPI Dynamics, an Atlanta-based firm which provides web application security assessment software and services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. SPI's software is used for testing e-commerce websites, supply chain and financial applications, as well as other software products. SPI Dynamics employs 140 and is venture funded by Southeaster Technology Fund, Gray Ventures, C&B Capital, VISA, and Jemison Investment Company.
