Obopay Adds Partners
Redwood City-based Obopay said today that it has added a number of companies to its list of partners using its mobile payment platform. Obopay, which is backed by ONSET Ventures, Qualcomm, Redpoint Ventures, and Richmond Management, said today that Xringer, RIPMobile, Chegg.com, Exit Games, and 4INFO have all partnered with the firm to accept mobile payments. Obopay is developing a service that allows consumers to easily pay for items using just their mobile phone.
