Union City-based MicuRx Pharmaceuticals announced Monday that it has completed a Series A funding worth $10M. the round was led by Morningside Group. MicuRx is developing anti-infective drugs, targeted at the problem of antibiotic resistance. The firm was founded by Zhengyu Yuan, Ph.D. and Mike Gordeev, Ph.D., former executives from Vicuron Pharmaceuticals.
