Milpitas-based SoloPower, a developer of thin-film solar photovoltaic cells and modules, said Thursday that it has raised $30M in a Series B funding. The deal was led by Convexa Capital, and also included Scatec AS, Spencer Energy AS, Crosslink Capital, Firsthand Capital Management and Musea Ventures. SoloPower said the funding will go towards further development, manufacturing, and commercialization of its high efficiency, low cost solar cells and modules.
