Facebook Acquires Parakey
Palo Alto-based Facebook said Thursday evening that it has acquired Parakey, the startup run by Blake Ross and Joe Hewitt, co-founders of Mozilla Firefox. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Facebook said that Ross and Hewitt will join Facebook's team, and will work on Facebook's platform and website. Parakey was developing software to connect web information and desktop PCs.
