CreateSpace Launches Books On Demand Service
Scotts Valley-based CreateSpace, a part of Amazon.com, said today that it has launched a new, online service which allows people to create their own custom books, DVDs, and CDs. The new service allows anyone to self-publish books on Amazon.com, and shows those books as "in-stock". CreateSpace is the former CustomFlix Labs, which Amazon acquired in 2005; the company operates as a subsidiary of Amazon.
