Santa Clara-based Transmeta said today that it has appointed Sujan Jain as CFO of the firm. Jain replaces Ralph J. Harms, who the firm said is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Jain joins the firm from NanoAmp Solutions, and has also served at PhotonWorx, J.P. Morgan Chase, Lazard, and Schlumberger. According to Transmeta Jain has also been an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at SRI International. Transmeta is a developer of low-power processors for the mobile market.
