Campbell-based SoonR, the startup that allows mobile phone users to access their desktop PCs from their cell phones, said today that it has named Patrick McVeigh as CEO of the firm. McVeigh was most recently CEO of PalmSource, and has also served as CEO at Aliph Corporation and OmniSky. SoonR founder Martin Frid-Nielsen becomes Chairman and Chief Product Officer of the firm. SoonR is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners and Intel Capital.
