Caring.com Enters Beta, Raises $6M
Palo Alto-based Caring.com said Friday that it has made a beta of its web site avilable, and raised $6M in a Series A funding from DCM and Split Rock Partners. Caring.com offers online "how to" guides and information on healthcare providers, focused on helping people find caring for aging or ailing parents. Caring.com said it will offer original content toward topics in healthcare, financial, legal, housing, and life issues for people with aging parents. The funding will go towards development of the Caring.com web site.
