Sunnyvale-based Yahoo has rolled out its universal search today, and is now incorporating audio, video, and photos directly into search results. The firm said today that its "Search Assist" technology will allow users to get all of the results they are looking for in one search. Google rolled out its universal search in May. Yahoo also said its new sarch service will provide real-time suggestions on related topics and concepts. The new search features also include a "Yahoo Shortcut" feature which links to other Yahoo content, news, and information.
