eBay Acquires Afterbuy.com
San Jose-based eBay said Thursday that it has acquried ViA-Online GmbH, which manages Afterbuy.com, and online site focused on helping users sell items on eBay's German web site, eBay.de. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. eBay said that Afterbuy will continue to operate under its current brand, and will remain in Krefeld, Germany.
