Agito Networks Scores $9M
Sunnyvale-based Agito Networks said this morning that it has raised $9M in an investment round. The firm is developing technology which routes voice calls between WiFi and cellular networks, focused on mobile business users. The funding came from Battery Ventures. Agito's founding team are from Cisco's Wireless Networking Business unit. Agito's technology allows companies to use their WiFi networks as an alternative to spotty cell phone coverage in office buildings.
