Google, The Nielsen Company In TV Ad Deal
Mountain View-based Google and television audience measurement firm The Nielsen Company said today that the two are in a multi-year, strategic relationship to link Nielsen's demographic data with Google's TV advertising system. The two said they would combine Nielsen's data with set-top box data for Google's advertisers. Google's TV Ads system is an online systems for buying, selling, and delivering television ads, which it has been running since May. The two companies said they would also be working on a number of other opportunities together, but did not disclose further details.
