GreenVolts Powers Up With $10M
San Francisco-based GreenVolts said Tuesday morning that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding. The company, which is developing solar concentrators and develops utility-scale photovoltaic installations, said the funding was led by Greenlight Energy Resourcs, along with Avista Corporation and other unnamed investors. GreenVolts said that it expects to deploy its first photovoltaic energy plant in late 2008.
