Lead Therapeutics Raises $17M
San Bruno-based Lead Therapeutics said Monday that it has raised $17M for its drug discovery efforts. The round was led by Pappas Ventures and ProQuest Investments, and also included Mustang Ventures. Lead Therapeutics said that the funding will go towards two drug discovery programs in infection diseases and oncology. The firm is focusing on developing small molecule drugs, based on research activities in China.
