Yield Dynamics Acquired By MKS Instruments
Sunnyvale-based Yield Dynamics, a provider of yield management technology for the semiconductor fab industry, has been acquired by MKS Instruments. Wilmington, Mass.-based MKS did not disclose the financial terms of the acquisition. However, the company said that the acquisition is expected to be slightly accretive going forward, although it will not materially affect its near term financial results.
