Mountain View-based SolFocus said today that the firm has raised $63.6M in two rounds, split between the firm's European and U.S. operations. The firm, which is developing photovoltaic concentrators for the solar industry, said that $52M of the round went to SolFocus in September as part of a Series B round, and the remainder to Solfocus Europe on a Series A financing. SolFocus designs and manufactures solar panel systems which use solar concentrators, and which also incorporate intelligent tracking technology. SolFocus previously announced the $52M Series B round in September.
