Synthasite Raises $5M, Eyes California
Synthasite, a Cape Town, South Africa-based Internet startup, said Monday afternoon that it has raised $5M, and is looking to relocate certain functions of the firm to California. The firm said the investment came from Compagnie Financiere Richemont through its subsidiary, Columbus Venture Capital. Synthasite is a developer of an AJAX-based, Web 2.0 tool for creating web sites. no details of the relocation were disclosed.
