Carbylan Gets $20M In Series B
Palo Alto-based Carbylan BioSurgery said Monday that it has raised $20M in a Series B round of financing. The round was led by Vivo Ventures, and also included prior investors Alta Partners and InterWest Partners. Albert Cha of Vivo Ventures joins the firm's board as part of the funding. Carbylan is developing medical devices for the treatment of osteoarthritis and chronic rhinosinusitis.
