Lam Research To Buy SEZ Group
Fremont-based Lam Research Corporation said Monday afternoon that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SEZ Group, a supplier of single wafer clean technology for the semiconductor industry. Lam Research will pay approximately $568M in cash for the firm. According to Lam Research, SEZ expects to have revenues of approximately $293M in 2007. SEZ will become a division of Lam Research.
