Soonr Appoints VP
SoonR, provider of a service that allows people to backup their computer files online and then retrieve them from any Internet-connected device, reported Wednesday that it has hired Jonathan Wood as senior vice president of worldwide sales and operations. SoonR said Wood will support the company’s international growth efforts from its offices in London. Describing him as a 17-year veteran of the telecommunications and wireless industries, SoonR said Wood has held various senior management positions with several technology-oriented companies, including GEC Siemens, Philips Electronics, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Openwave Systems, Palmsource and Access Systems of Japan. Intel Capital.
