Yahoo, Belo In Local News Video Deal
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo! and media firm Belo said this morning that thirteen of Belo's television stations will begin providing local news video to Yahoo! News. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The two firms said that Yahoo will host dozens of local news video clips each day provided by Belo stations, and will feature those within the Yahoo News sites. Cities covered by the deal include Austin, Portland, Charlotte, San Antonio, Hampton/Norfolk, Seattle/Tacoma, Houston, Spokane, Louisville, St. Louis, New Orleans, Tucson, and Phoenix.
