San Francisco-based Chirp Interactive, a developer of a screen saver linked to online social networking websites, said Thursday that the firm has raised a round of funding from Greylock Partners and SoftTech VC. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Chirp has develops "chirpscreen," a screen saver application which pulls content from sources such as Flickr and Facebook to their PC. Other investors in the seed round of funding included Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn), Jay Adelson (Digg), and Dave Samuel (Spinner.com, Grouper).
