Burlingame-based mobile social networking firm mig33 said today that it has raised $13.5M in a Series B funding. The round came was led by DCM, and also included prior investors Accel, Redpoint, and TVP. mig33 said it will use the funding to continue expansion of the company. mig33 provides a carrier-agnostic, social networking and instant messaging application for mobile phone users. The additional round brings mig33's total funding to $23.5M. The firm last raised a round of funding in May of last year.
