Yahoo Kills Music Unlimited
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said this morning that it has closed the firm's Yahoo! Music Unlimited service. According to the firm, the service, which provided premium access to music tracks, was closed because it was taking a large portion of the firm's resources away from music.yahoo.com and LAUNCHcast Radio. Yahoo said it is now tapping Rhapsody as its partner for on-demand music, and that it will allow its subscribers to migrate their music catalogs to Rhapsody.
